According to details, the silverware was unveiled by Pakistan captain Fatima Sana and her Zimbabwean captain Nomwelo Sibanda, who also posed with the title.

The three-match series will begin on Tuesday at the National Bank Stadium here, while the remaining two matches will be played on May 14 and 15 respectively.

The series is important for both the teams as it gives final touches to preparations for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2026, which is scheduled to be co-hosted by England and Wales from June 12 to July 5.

Ahead of the T20Is, Pakistan and Zimbabwe were locked in a three-match ODI series, with the hosts dominating 3-0 and their captain Fatima Sana expressing her desire for the home team to carry the momentum forward.

“We are happy with the way the team performed in the ODI series and the players showed great discipline and consistency throughout the series. The T20I format brings various challenges but the momentum and confidence of the ODI series will definitely help us going into this tour,” Fatima told Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Digital.

“It is encouraging to see young players getting opportunities through domestic games, while the return of experienced players strengthens the squad. These tournaments are important for us to continue our preparations for upcoming international assignments, including the Ireland tri-series and the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup.”
