KARACHI: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed a slight change in the schedule for the Zimbabwe Women’s tour of Pakistan on Sunday for the white-ball series, with all matches to be played at the National Bank Stadium.

The series, consisting of three ODIs and three T20Is, was originally scheduled to begin on May 3 with the opening ODI.

However, the PCB has now revised the match, pushing back the first match by a day.

The opening ODI will now be played on May 4, while the second and third ODIs will continue as per the earlier announced schedule on May 6 and May 9 respectively.

The T20I series will be held on May 12, 14 and 15 at the same venue. All three matches will start at 7:30 PM local time.

While the final of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 was scheduled to be played on May 3 at the Gaddafi Stadium, the calendar has been changed due to a clash in the calendar.

For the uninitiated, the Zimbabwean women are scheduled to arrive in Karachi on April 29.

The ODI series forms part of the 2025-29 cycle of the ICC Women’s Championship, where Pakistan are currently fifth with two points, following their only overseas assignment – the three-match ODI series against South Africa earlier this year.

The T20I leg will be a key preparation for Pakistan ahead of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5.

Before the World Cup, Pakistan will also feature in a T20I tri-series in Ireland featuring the hosts and the West Indies, with matches scheduled from May 28 to June 4.
