KARACHI: Pakistan spinners Shadab Khan and Sufyan Mukeem have been included in Antigua and Barbuda Falcons’ overseas contracts for the Caribbean Premier League (CPL) 2026, which will be played from August 7 to September 20.

According to the tournament organisers, the Pakistan pair were named among the six foreign signings made by the franchise ahead of the tournament, which include experienced England all-rounder Moeen Ali and Sri Lankan wicketkeeper-batsman Gusal Perera, while Milind Kumar and Tajinder Singh of the United States were also selected.

On their overseas contracts, star players Moeen and Perera will remain for the Falcons throughout the tournament, while Kumar and Singh will feature in the first three matches of CPL 2026.

On the other hand Pakistan’s Shatab and Subian will play seven matches.

“Moeen Ali and Gusal Perera will be fully featured throughout the tournament and will be with the team from day one, providing a consistent top-order presence for the team throughout the campaign,” CPL shared in a statement.

“Milind Kumar and Tajinder Singh will join the squad at the start of the season and will be available for the first three matches of the campaign.

“Shadab Khan and Sufyan Mukeem will be in seven matches during the tournament, adding proven and emerging spin options to the squad as the campaign progresses.”

The recently announced overseas signings will join the likes of Aljari Joseph, Jayden Seals and Rakim Cornwall in the Falcons squad, which kicks off their campaign in a curtain-raiser against the Jamaica Kingsmen at the Arnos Vale Stadium in Kingstown on August 7.
