LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued a no-obligation certificate (NOC) to Test all-rounder Amir Jamal, allowing him to participate in the 12th edition of the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) 2025-26.

The 29-year-old is set to represent Chattogram Royals, who are currently third on the points table with one win and one loss from two matches. Two points for the team and a net run rate of 0.729.

This will be Jamal’s third consecutive appearance in the BPL. He made his league debut with Comilla Victorians, where he took six wickets in three matches.

In the following season, he played for Khulna Tigers and took one wicket in two matches.

Jamal also brings solid franchise cricket experience, having featured in three seasons of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) for Peshawar Zalmi and Karachi Kings.

In 21 PSL matches, the right-arm fast bowler has taken 19 wickets. He also played one season of the Lanka Premier League (LPL) where he took one wicket in two appearances.

At the international level, Jamal has represented Pakistan in six T20Is, scoring 88 runs and taking two wickets. He played three matches in ODIs and took three wickets.

In Test cricket, Jamal played 8 matches for Pakistan and scored 352 runs with 21 wickets, including two fifties.
