LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced the 15-man squad for the U19 tri-series against Afghanistan and Zimbabwe and the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup from January 15 to February 6.

The former champions have made only one change to their squad, currently in the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 in Dubai, with right-arm pacer Umar Zaib replacing left-arm spinner Mohammad Husayfa for the upcoming assignments.

The rest of the Pakistan U19 squad remained intact and is set to face Bangladesh in the semi-finals of the continental tournament on Sunday, while the final will be played on Sunday.

Following the Asia Cup, Pakistan will travel to Zimbabwe for a tri-series and will begin their campaign against Afghanistan on December 27 before facing the home team on December 29.

The Green Shirts will play at least four matches in the league stage, after which the top two teams will meet in the final on January 6.

In the mega event, Pakistan face England in their campaign opener on January 16, while their remaining group-stage matches are scheduled against Scotland and Zimbabwe on January 19 and 22 respectively.

Farhan Yousuf (c), Usman Khan (VC), Abdul Subban, Ahmed Hussain, Ali Hasan Baloch, Ali Raza, Daniel Ali Khan, Hamza Zahoor (wk), Husaifa Ahsan, Momin Qamar, Mohammad Syam, Mohammad Shayan (wk), Uqab Shafiq, and Samar Shafiq.

Non-travel reserves:

Abdul Qader, Farhanullah, Hasan Khan, Ibtisam Azhar and Mohammad Husayfa.
