Mount Maunganui: New Zealand dominated the West Indies by 323 runs in the third and final Test at the Bay Oval to win the series 2-0 and move into second place in the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 points table.

Jacob Duffy was the star of the match with 5 wickets in the second innings and 9 for 128 runs. Chasing a tough target of 462, West Indies were bowled out for just 138 runs.

The victory lifted the Blackcaps to second place in the WTC standings with two wins and a draw from three matches, with 28 points and a win percentage of 77.78.

Australia, who won the Ashes with a 3-0 lead against England, continue to dominate the championship, remaining unbeaten with six straight wins, 72 points and a perfect 100% win rate.

Defending champions South Africa are now third with three wins and one loss from four matches, with 36 points with a win rate of 75%.

Sri Lanka finished fourth with 16 points and a win and a draw with a win rate of 66.67%.

Pakistan and India are fifth and sixth respectively. Pakistan has played two matches, won one and lost one, with 12 points and 50% win rate.

India have a total of 52 points from nine matches with four wins, four losses and one draw and a win rate of 48.15%.

England, after the Ashes series defeat, finished seventh with two wins and five losses from eight matches, with 26 points and a win rate of 27.08%.

Bangladesh are eighth with a total of four points from two matches, one loss and one draw, while West Indies are at the bottom with seven defeats and four points from eight matches.
