KARACHI: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi on Sunday listed the milestones achieved by the national women’s team as they beat Zimbabwe 3-0 in the domestic series.

Taking to X, earlier on Twitter, Naqvi shared a list of entries, along with a picture of the opening duo in the form of Gul Beroza and Sadaf Shamas.

Chasing a target of 222 for 1 with 109 balls remaining, the Green Shirts won the third ODI at the National Bank Stadium by nine wickets on Saturday.

Feroza scored an unbeaten 106 off 92 balls with 16 fours for the Green Shirts.

The unbeaten century marked Perosa’s second consecutive century, making him only the second Pakistani to reach the milestone in ODIs. He also broke the record for the fastest hundred for a green shirt team by scoring a triple hundred off 83 balls.

With his 98-ball 90 in the third match, Sadaf Shams, who became the first Pakistani player to score more than five consecutive fifties in ODIs, had ample support for Perosa throughout the series with his opening partner.

Shatab and Feroza set several joint records as they combined for 571 runs – the highest by a pair in a women’s ODI series.

They also equaled Chitra Amin and Muneefa Ali for the most century partnerships for Pakistan, while their 220 in the third match was the second highest partnership for any wicket in women’s ODIs.

Naqvi further shared that Pakistan’s run-rate of 7.06 in successfully chasing the 200-plus target in women’s ODIs.
