Mirpur: Rangpur Riders won the match against Nogali Express by 8 wickets at Sher Bangla National Stadium on Sunday.

Batting first, the Express posted 173-2 in 20 overs thanks to an unbeaten century from Hasan Ishaqil.

Isaac scored 107 off 72 balls with 4 fours and 11 sixes while captain Haider Ali supported him with 42 off 32 balls including 3 fours and a six.

The Rangpur Riders bowlers struggled to control the score. Akif Javed lost a wicket conceding 53 runs in four overs while Faheem Ashraf also failed to take a wicket conceding 33 runs in four overs.

Nahid Rana managed a wicket, but at a cost, conceding 40 runs, and Al Islam took 1/22 in his four-over spell.

In reply, the Raiders team reached the target losing only 2 wickets in 19.4 overs.

Towhid Hridoy scored 109 off 63 balls with 15 fours and 2 sixes. Captain Liton Das remained unbeaten on 39 off 35 balls including 2 fours and a six.

Hasan Mahmood and Zaheer Khan took one wicket each for the Express side and the rest of the bowlers went wicketless.

With the win, Rangpur Riders have secured their place in the knockout stage of the tournament and will face Sylhet Titans in the eliminator match at the same venue on Tuesday.
