KARACHI: Pakistan openers Gul Feroza and Sadaf Shams made history by recording the second-highest opening partnership for the national team in the second match of the domestic series against Zimbabwe at the National Bank Stadium on Wednesday.
Batting first, Pakistan dominated as Feroza and Shamas wreaked havoc with their exceptional batting approach in scoring runs right from the start, taking the team’s total to a colossal level in today’s match.
Both the pair went past 150, with Gul Beroza raising the bat for his first ODI century, while Shamas got close to another century today in a fifty-over game.
However, the 189-run partnership was broken when Lindokuhle Maphero dismissed Gul Feroza for a 95-ball 100 with 13 boundaries.
