Pakistan is set to host a five-match One Day International (ODI) series in 2027, according to a Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) statement.
BCB has invited bids for television and digital media rights covering its home matches for calendar years 2026 and 2027, according to media reports.
The tender outlines Bangladesh’s future home assignments against several touring nations, including a five-match ODI series against Pakistan in 2027.
Although the BCB is yet to officially announce the schedule, the reported tender provides an early indication of Bangladesh’s international housing program over the next two years.
Pakistan most recently toured Bangladesh earlier this year, where they played a three-match ODI series in March followed by a two-match Test series in May.
Bangladesh dominated both the matches, sweeping the Test series 2–0 before winning the ODI series 2–1.
Announced to include a five-match ODI series against Pakistan, Bangladesh highlight another significant bilateral engagement between the two Asian rivals as they finalize their future international calendar.
Meanwhile, the Pakistan team is gearing up for the upcoming red-ball assignments that include Test tours of the West Indies and England as part of the 2025-27 ICC World Test Championship (WTC).
Pakistan are expected to leave for the West Indies on July 13, where they will play a four-day practice match from July 18.
The two-Test series against the West Indies will be played in Trinidad and Tobago from July 25 to 29 and August 2 to 6 respectively.
Following the Caribbean tour, Pakistan travel to England for a three-Test series, with matches scheduled at Headingley in Leeds from August 19, Lord’s in London from August 27 and Edgbaston in Birmingham from September 9.
