The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has announced a packed domestic international calendar for the 2026 season, with Bangladesh set to host four Tests, 12 ODIs and nine T20Is.
The home season will begin in March following the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, with Pakistan participating in a three-match ODI series scheduled to be played on March 12, 14 and 16 respectively.
Pakistan will return in May for a two-match Test series as part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27 cycle.
The first Test will be played from May 8 to 12, followed by the Red-Ball fixture on May 16. Venues for all the above matches will be announced in due course.
“The confirmed tour ensures a full season of international cricket in Bangladesh, giving supporters across the country the opportunity to watch top-level cricket at home, while details of the match venues will be announced in due course,” the PCB said in a statement.
New Zealand will tour Bangladesh in April and May for a full white-ball series, including three ODIs and three T20Is.
They will be followed by Australia in June and India in August and September, with both teams playing three ODIs and three T20Is each.
The season will conclude with a two-Test series against the West Indies, part of the WTC, in October and November.
The series will be preceded by a three-day practice match in Bangladesh from October 22 to 24. The first Test will be held from October 28 to November 1 and the second from November 5-9.
Also, the Sri Lanka A team is scheduled to tour Bangladesh in May 2026 for a series consisting of two four-day matches and three one-day matches.
