Dubai: Star Pakistan batsmen Babar Azam and Sufian Muqeem have made notable gains in the latest ICC T20I rankings, while several other players have seen a decline.

In the T20 batsmen rankings, opener Sahibzada Farhan retained his sixth position with 752 points. Babar Azam has moved up 2 places to 29th position with 573 points.

Youngster Saim Ayub slipped one place to 37th, while wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan slipped from 55th to 56th with 504 points.

Left-arm batsman Faqar Zaman is ranked 64th, Hasan Nawaz is 80th and wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Haris is 92nd with 398 points.

India’s Abhishek Sharma is at the top spot in T20I and England’s Phil Salt is at the second spot. Sri Lanka’s Padum Nissanka has been relegated to fourth place as India’s Tilak Verma returns to third place.

Spinners Abrar Ahmed and Mohammad Nawaz are ranked fourth and 11th respectively in the T20 bowler rankings.

Left-arm pacer Shaheen Afridi has slipped one place to 20th, while off-spinner Subian Muqeem has climbed to 32nd with 576 points.

Fast bowler Salman Mirza is ranked 35th and Saim Ayub has slipped two places to 42nd. Haris Raoob and Faheem Ashraf are ranked 54th and 58th respectively.

India’s Varun Chakraborty continues to dominate as the number one T20 bowler, with New Zealand’s Jacob Duffy in second and Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan in third.
