
PESHAWAR: Right-arm fast bowler Zaman Khan suffered a dislocated right shoulder during the National T20 Cup 2026 match between Peshawar and Faisalabad at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday confirmed.
According to the cricket board, the 24-year-old suffered a dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) in his right shoulder while playing for Faisalabad in the recently concluded tournament.
As a result, Zaman will now report to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) on Saturday, where further action regarding his recovery and rehabilitation plan will be assessed.
“Acromioclavicular joint (ACJ) dislocation of right shoulder by fast bowler Zaman Khan while fielding during the match between Faisalabad and Peshawar in the ongoing National T20 Cup in Peshawar,” the PCB said in a brief statement.
“He will report to the National Cricket Academy in Lahore on March 14 and further action regarding his recovery and rehabilitation plan will be charted out in consultation with the PCB medical team.”
Zaman’s injury comes 12 days before the start of the much-anticipated Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, for which he was retained by Bindis in the gold division.
The openers are scheduled to begin their PSL 11 campaign on March 28, where they will face home side Peshawar Zalmi in a day match at the same venue, while Zaman’s participation remains uncertain.
