Karachi:
Former Indian cricket player Chris Ghauri made a great revelation in relation to Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma’s resignation.
The Indian cricket players Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma surprised the World Cricket by withdrawing from the test cricket on May 2025.
The two made the decision after poor performance against Australia on the Gavascar Trophy border, but former Indian cricket player Chrison Ghauri presented a new stand on this matter.
Chrison Ghauri revealed that Virat and Rohit wanted to play more test cricket, but BCCI’s internal policy forced him to retire.
He said that Virat Kohli could play for India for two years, but something happened to retire.
He said that the sad thing is that the BCCI did not give him a farewell game. Such a big player should have got a brilliant and wonderful farewell game.
Ghauri added that the decision was the result of the selection committee and the “small policy” of the BCCI, otherwise neither Virat nor RoHIT voluntarily left the game.
On the other hand, there are reports that these two players can soon say goodbye to Odi Cricket, whereupon their dream of the 2027 World Cup remains incomplete.
