The Pakistan Super League (PSL) has unveiled its official anthem ‘Khelenge Beat Pe’ for the 11th edition of the tournament, ushering in a new era for the decade-old competition.
The matches are scheduled to take place from March 26 to May 3, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars taking on debutants Hyderabad Kingsmen.
The anthem charts the league’s journey over the past ten years as it expands to include eight teams for the first time.
As PSL has become the passion of cricket fans across the country, ‘Kelenge Pete Pay’ captures the story of a rivalry rooted in a generation.
The track also serves as a vivid tribute to Pakistan’s enduring love for cricket, a sport that continues to entertain millions across the nation.
Since 2016, the tournament has brought the country together every year to celebrate sports through a world-class sporting extravaganza.
Headlining the artistes is longtime Pakistani music icon Atif Aslam, who leads the band alongside the Sabri sisters – Anam and Saman.
They are joined by legendary singer Aima Baig and rising rap sensation Tania Kanwal.
Aslam, who performed in the 2022 anthem ‘Ake Tek’, is lending his unique vocals to PSL for the second time.
For Baig, this season marks his fourth appearance, following his contribution to ‘Groove Mera’ in 2021, Anthem in 2022 and ‘Kul Ke Gal’ in 2024.
PSL CEO Salman Naseer noted that the Pakistan Super League continues to grow as one of the most exciting and competitive T20 leagues in the world and continues to deliver high-quality cricket and engage millions of fans worldwide.
The league’s anthem this year has been carefully crafted to capture this progress and ambition, representing both the journey so far and the bright future ahead, Nasir added.
“PSL has always stood for world-class cricket, unforgettable entertainment and the incredible passion of our fans,” Naseer said.
“As we step into Season 11, this anthem reflects the league’s evolution and exciting journey ahead. It reflects where the PSL stands today: confident, energized and ready to inspire a new generation of players and fans,” he added.
