The ICC announces the Mantha player for July 2025.
India’s test captain Shabman Gul was declared July player of the Mantha. The 25 -year -old GUL won the honor of beating England in the test series.
In three tests he achieved 754 runs with an average of 75, including a two -time century and two centuries. He gave India a historical victory with 336 runs and played 269 and 161 runs in the Edgbaston test.
In the meantime, he was the first Indian captain to make a test in England centuries, and the second captain who performed this performance abroad. He also broke the old records of Sunil Gavascar and Sachin Tendulkar.
Shabman Gul is the first male player to win the Manta’s ICC player four times. He described it as his career and captain.
The ISTGH nominated Ben Stokes from England and South Africa van Milder with Shabman Gul for the Mantha player.
