KARACHI: Pakistan former all-rounder Imad Wasim’s ex-wife Sannia Ashbak has broken her silence after the cricketer announced his second marriage and leveled strong allegations against her ex-partner.
Amid the controversy, Sunny shared a strong response on Instagram on Monday.
In his statement, he accused Wasim of infidelity and said the latest developments confirmed his long-held concerns.
Expressing anguish over the impact of the situation on his family, he said he could no longer remain silent and demanded accountability.
“Now everyone has seen the proof. This domestic worker never thought about my children. The cheater is finally exposed and I want justice for my children and all we have been through,” Ashfaq wrote.
It is noteworthy that Wasim has announced his marriage to Naila Raja through an Instagram post.
In a brief statement, the 37-year-old – who has represented Pakistan in 55 ODIs and 75 T20Is – described the break-up of his first marriage as “one of the toughest episodes” of his life.
Because of her silence during the fallout, Nyla was unfairly judged and criticized.
“By the grace of Allah and the guidance of my parents, I am now married to Naila. This step was taken thoughtfully and with a clear intention to build a life rooted in peace, stability and mutual respect,” Wasim wrote.
“Nyla has brought peace, dignity and strength to my life and I stand by this decision with full confidence,” he added.
For those who don’t know, Wasim announced his divorce from Sannia in December last year. The couple married in 2019 and share three children together.
