
LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday announced that the online sale of tickets for the much-awaited Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 has gone live.
In the first phase of sale, tickets for the upcoming edition of the eight-team marquee league for the first time can be purchased through the website of the private courier service, which has been appointed as the official ticketing partner for the tournament.
Meanwhile, physical tickets will go on sale on March 24; Further details regarding this will be announced in due course.
For the first time in the history of PSL, matches will be played at six different stadiums. Eight teams compete for the coveted title in this expanded edition.
PSL 11 is set to begin on March 26 in Lahore, with defending champions Lahore Qalandars taking on Hyderabad Kingsmen in the curtain raiser.
The 39-day tournament with 44 matches will be held till May 3. In addition to the existing six franchises, two new teams are being introduced this season: Pindis and Hyderabad Kingsmen.
General tickets for Karachi and Lahore stadiums are available for PKR 250 and Faisalabad Iqbal Stadium for PKR 300. The same ticket can be bought in Rawalpindi and Multan for PKR 400.
Also, PCB announced to dedicate its first PSL match at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium in Peshawar, with home team Peshawar Zalmi taking on debutants Bindis in an afternoon match on March 28, tickets for the VIP family box will be available at PKR 2,000.
Meanwhile, premium tickets for the afternoon match at the stadium are set at PKR 1,500, while fans can watch the action from the VIP complex for PKR 3,000. VVIP gallery tickets can be purchased for PKR 6,000.
