Peshawar: Usama Mir’s economical bowling figures of 6/8 helped Sialkot to a resounding 110-run win over Lahore Blues in the 11th match of the 2026 National T20 Trophy at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

Lahore Blues captain Saad Naseem’s decision to field first backfired as seven-time champion Abdullah Shafiq’s half-century took them to a mammoth total of 210/4 in 20 overs.

Abdullah scored 57 runs off 31 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes.

The top-order batsman was involved in an 80-run third-wicket partnership with Hasan Nawaz, who scored 41 off 28 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.

Following their back-to-back dismissals, the middle-order duo of Ahsan Hafeez Bhatti and Mohsin Riaz were equally dominant as they put on an unbeaten 76.

Bhatti remained unbeaten on 47 off 17 balls with 5 fours and 3 sixes while Mohsin scored 30 off 26 balls.

For Lahore Blues, Mohammad Rizwan and Hunain Shah took 2 wickets each.

Chasing a target of 211 runs, Lahore Blues scored 100 runs in 14.2 overs.

Wicketkeeper batsman Hamza Zahoor remained the top scorer for Lahore Blues with 37 off 23 balls, followed by opener Umar Siddiqui’s 31 off 31 balls.

Apart from them, none of the Lahore Blues’ batsmen could score double figures against Sialkot’s bowling attack, with Pakistan international Mir taking 6 wickets for just 8 runs in his 3.2 overs and was adjudged the man of the match.

Mir was supported by fellow Pakistan international Sufyan Muqeem, who bagged two scalps, while Muhammad Ali and Bhatti added one each.

A 110-run win saw Sialkot top the table in their second appearance. Also, they beat Karachi Blues and Multan with two points each to lift them to the second position in the Group B standings of the ongoing National T20 Cup.
