KARACHI: Afghanistan men’s cricket team is scheduled to tour India for a single Test followed by three ODIs from June 6 to 20 respectively.
The multi-format will begin with a single Test match scheduled from June 6 to 10 in New Chandigarh.
The upcoming match will not be part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) and will mark only the second meeting between the two sides.
The first Test between India and Afghanistan was held in 2018, with the former winning by an innings and 262 runs.

Notably, the multi-format tour of Afghanistan is set to begin six days after the conclusion of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026, with the final scheduled to take place on May 31.
The home series against Afghanistan will be India’s first series since the ongoing ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026, while Sri Lanka will host a three-match ODI and T20I series in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
