
Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released its final Women’s Player of the Month list for February 2026, featuring Pakistan captain Fatima Sana, Sri Lankan top-order batsman Harshita Samarawickrama and Indian seamer Arundhati Reddy.
Fatima Sana gave an impressive all-round performance against South Africa despite losing the ODI and T20I series 2-1.
The Pakistan captain was particularly influential in the T20 leg of the tour. He was the highest run-scorer in the shortest format, scoring 146 runs at a remarkable average of 73.00 and a strike rate of 184.81.
His tour came in the first T20I, where he scored a brilliant 90 runs. He followed this up with an unbeaten 47 and 2 for 12 in the third match, which earned him the Man of the Match award.
Sana also contributed significantly in the 50-over format, scoring an important 52 and taking two important wickets in the second ODI. Throughout the tour, he took four wickets in ODIs and two in T20Is.
Harshitha Samarawickrama had a very good ODI series in the Caribbean and was instrumental in Sri Lanka’s 2-1 series win over the West Indies.
The left-hander scored 171 runs in three innings at an average of 57.00 to finish as the leading run-scorer of the series.
Showing great consistency, Samarawickrama anchored the Sri Lankan batting line-up in challenging conditions with scores of 66, 35, and 70.
His decisive contributions were instrumental in securing the series win and earned him the Man of the Series award.
Meanwhile, Arundhati Reddy led the Indian attack during their historic three-match T20I series win in Australia.
The right-arm seamer was the leading wicket-taker in the series with eight scalps at an exceptional average of 10.87 and an economy rate of 7.25.
Reddy delivered match-defining spells in each game, posting figures of 4 for 22, 2 for 30, and 2 for 35, keeping the powerful Australian batting line-up under pressure.
His ability to take crucial wickets was a key factor in India’s 2-1 series win.
