KARACHI: Pakistan right-arm fast bowler Naseem Shah is one of the five foreign players signed by the St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots for this year’s Caribbean Premier League (CPL) to be held from August 7 to September 20.

The 23-year-old fast bowler, who has represented Pakistan in 37 T20Is, will be coming to the Patriots for the third time having previously represented the franchise in the 2021 and 2025 editions of the CPL.

In his 11 matches for the Patriots, Shaw took 17 wickets at an average of 28.00 and an economy rate of 8.04.

Shaw was joined by Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka and Vanindu Hazaranga, Afghanistan’s Waqar Salamkhail and Australia’s Nikhil Chaudhary among the Patriots’ overseas recruits as they further strengthened their squad for the 14th edition of the league.
