
Dubai: Pakistan’s players have largely maintained their positions in the latest ICC T20I rankings, with Faqar Zaman and spinners Usman Tariq and Sufyan Muqeem making notable gains.
In the ICC T20I batsmen’s rankings, the top three positions remain unchanged, with Pakistan’s Sahibzada Farhan occupying the third position with 848 points. India’s Ishan Kishan continues to top the rankings followed by teammate Abhishek Sharma at second.
Top-order batsmen Saim Ayub and Babar Azam are at 40th and 42nd respectively, while captain Salman Ali Agha is at 44th with 547 points. Opener Faqar Zaman moved up one place to 71st with 481 points.
The top three spots in the ICC T20I bowlers’ rankings have seen a slight change, with England’s Adil Rashid pipping India’s Varun Chakraborty to the third spot with 712 points.
Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed remains at the second spot with 736 points, followed by Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan.
Spinner Mohammad Nawaz remains at the 12th position and fast bowler Salman Mirza at the 20th position. Shaheen Afridi is ranked 30th with 602 points.
Off-spinner Usman Tariq has moved up one place to 59th with 524 points and teammate Subian Muqeem is 67th with 510 points.
Meanwhile, Saeem Ayub slipped one place to 72nd, while Shatab Khan slipped to 74th. Fast bowler Haris Raoob is currently ranked 89th with 448 points.
In the ICC T20 all-rounders rankings, Saim Ayub has climbed one place to second, overtaking India’s Hardik Pandya, who slipped to third, while Zimbabwe’s Sikandar Raza continues to hold the top spot.
Mohammad Nawaz is at number 10 and Shatab Khan is at number 23. Faheem Ashraf and Salman Ali Agha have been ranked 53rd and 55th respectively, while Shaheen Afridi has retained his position of 62nd.
