LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday announced the list of foreign players for the 11th season of Pakistan Super League (PSL).
PCB announced the news of foreign player registration in an official press release.
“The foreign player registration window for the 11th edition of PSL is now officially open,” PCB said, adding that the registration link is available on its official website.
“Agents and independent players are encouraged to add their registration to the player pool before January 20, 2026.”
PSL 11 will be played from March 26 to May 3, 2026 between eight teams, and the two new franchises will be auctioned on January 8.
The expansion to eight teams will create significantly more roster spots and earning opportunities for foreign players, the PCB said.
“As the league enters a historic new era of expansion, cricketing talent from around the world are welcome to join in what promises to be an even bigger season,” the PCB said.
“With the addition of two new owners, the league has expanded to eight teams, creating more significant venues and opportunities for international players.”
Launched in 2016, PSL will have eight teams for the first time in its 11th edition. The board said the auction for the two new franchises will be held in Islamabad and will be telecast live.
Earlier, citing strong interest from investors in Europe, the US and the Middle East, the PCB had extended the deadline for bids for the two new franchises by a week.
The extension was announced by PCB chairman Mohsin Naqvi on his official X account, who said the deadline has been changed from December 15 to December 22.
With the upcoming expansion, the PSL will undergo its first major structural change in seven years, officially increasing the number of franchises from six to eight.
