Dublin: The trophy for the Women’s T20 tri-series between Pakistan, Ireland and West Indies has been officially announced ahead of the May 28-June 4 tournament.
The tri-series will serve as a major preparation for the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup to be held in England and Wales from June 12 to July 5.
Hayley Mathews, Orla Prendergast and Fatima Sana, the captains of the three participating teams, unveiled the trophy.
“Captains with trophy. Ireland T20I tri-series begins tomorrow, Pakistan to face West Indies in their opener on May 29,” read the caption accompanying the post.
This cup features an elegant crystal-glass design that beautifully reflects light with intricate cut patterns, giving it a premium look.
It features a tall mug-like structure with curved edges and diamond-style engraving on the body, while a silver plaque in the center displays the title of the tournament and the year “2026”.
The opening match of the tri-series will be between Ireland and West Indies on Thursday, while Pakistan will begin their campaign against the Caribbean side on Friday.
