LAHORE: Defending Asian champions Pakistan U19 will tour England in September for a bilateral series, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed on Friday.
According to the Cricket Board, during their England tour, the Pakistan U19 team will play one four-day match and four one-day matches from September 2 to 16.
The lone four-day match at Arundel will be held from September 2 to 5, while the opening one-day match will be played at the same venue on September 9.
The second ODI will be played at Guildford on September 12, while the third and fourth ODIs of the series will be played at Wormsley on September 14 and 16 respectively.
The upcoming tour marks the green shirts’ first assignment since the Super Sixers’ exit at the ICC Men’s U19 World Cup earlier this year.
Ahead of the mega event, the Green Shirts took on the U19 ODI tri-series in Zimbabwe, involving the home team and Afghanistan, and won the title by a run without dominating.
The tri-series glory added to Pakistan’s historic ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup triumph, beating arch-rivals India by 191 runs in the final.
During the continental tournament, the Green Shirts suffered only one defeat, which coincidentally came against traditional rivals in the group stage.
