LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has issued no-holds-barred certificate (NOC) to several national cricketers to participate in county cricket and Vitality Blast in the 2026 season.

Fast bowler Hasan Ali has been given NOC to represent Yorkshire County Cricket Club, while Mohammad Ali, Usman Tariq and Faheem Ashraf have received NOCs for Vitality Blast.

Meanwhile, PCB has extended pacer Mohammad Abbas’s NOC to continue representing Derbyshire County Cricket Club.

His stints are spread over a long period of time, from April, May, June and August to the end of September, reflecting a structured workload management approach while ensuring his presence in red-ball cricket in England.

Earlier, the board had also issued NOCs to some Pakistani players who will be representing their respective teams in overseas leagues in the 2026 season.

Among the prominent names, Subyan Mukeem, Mohammad Nawaz and Usama Mir have been given permission to feature in Vitality T20 Blast 2026.

Sufiyan’s availability is limited from May 22 to June 7, while Nawaz and Usama Mir have extended windows to mid-July and late July respectively, marking their involvement throughout most of the tournament.

Mir previously represented Worcestershire in the 2023 tournament, where he played 11 matches and took 19 wickets at an economy rate of 7.29, while Nawaz and Subian are set to make their first Vitality T20 debuts.

Meanwhile, spinners Nawaz, Mukeem and Usman are on the verge of making their Vitality Blast debut after previously representing teams in other franchise leagues.

It is pertinent to mention that the upcoming edition of the Vitality Blast will begin on May 22 with Essex taking on Sussex and continue till July 18.
