Mirpur: The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) on Tuesday announced free entry to students and cricket academy coaches during the men’s home Test series against Pakistan from May 8 to 20.

According to the cricket board, a “special opportunity” has been extended to encourage young cricket fans to experience the action from the stands and galleries.

BCB further shared that students of schools and other educational institutions should wear their respective uniforms and carry valid identity cards to get a chance to watch the Test series between Bangladesh and Pakistan at designated stands and galleries.

“During the upcoming Bangladesh vs Pakistan Test series, a special opportunity has been introduced to encourage young cricket enthusiasts to experience the ultimate form of the game from the stands and galleries,” BCB said in a statement.

“Students belonging to schools and educational institutions wearing their respective uniforms and carrying valid identity cards will be allowed free entry to the designated stands/galleries,” it added.

The BCB later shared that the “offer” would also apply to under-15 coaches enrolled in private cricket academies. Like the students, they must wear their official Academy kits and receive complimentary access.

The two-match series, part of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) 2025-27, will begin with the opening match from May 8 to 12 at the Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium here, while the second red-ball match will be held in Sylhet from May 20 to 16.
