LAHORE: Renowned national artistes including Atif Aslam and Ali Asmad are set to perform at the glitzy closing ceremony of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 at Gaddafi Stadium on Sunday.

According to details, a high-level meeting chaired by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi took a detailed look at the arrangements for the summit and the closing ceremony, which was attended by senior officials of the cricket board including CEO Syed Sumir Ahmed and PSL CEO Salman Naseer.

During the meeting, final touches were given to preparations for the much-anticipated closing ceremony, which will feature renowned artistes including Atif, Azmat, Arif Lohar, Aima Baig and the Sabri sisters, while a grand fireworks display is planned as part of the colorful festivities.

PCB Chairman Naqvi stressed the importance of ensuring world-class arrangements for the mega event, instructing the authorities to prioritize the comfort and convenience of the visitors. He also requested the fans to reach the stadium by 6 pm to witness the closing ceremony in full.

“We must ensure better and better arrangements at every level for this mega event. Special attention must be paid to the comfort and convenience of cricket fans,” Naqvi said.

“He also advised the spectators to arrive early to enjoy the full spectacle. Cricket fans should arrive at the stadium by 6 pm to fully enjoy the grand closing ceremony,” he added.

Notably, the closing ceremony will be held ahead of the PSL 11 final between table toppers Peshawar Zalmi and debutants Hyderabad Kingsmen, who booked their place in the climactic clash with a thrilling two-run win over three-time champions Islamabad United in Eliminator 2 at the same venue on Friday.
