LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is in ongoing talks with Cricket Australia over the scheduling of Australia’s white-ball tour to Pakistan, sources said. Jio is super On Friday.

Pakistan is expected to host Australia for a three-match One-Day International (ODI) series, with the touring team likely to arrive in the country in late May.

According to sources, the matches are tentatively scheduled to be held from May 31 to June 5. Under the proposed itinerary, one match is expected to be held in Rawalpindi and the remaining two in Lahore.

Australia last visited Pakistan in January this year for a three-match Twenty20 international series.

Following the upcoming tour, they are set to travel to Bangladesh for another white-ball assignment, with the first ODI scheduled for June 9.

Meanwhile, Pakistan are also gearing up for the tour of Bangladesh, where they are tentatively scheduled to play a two-match series from May 8 to 20.

It will mark their first international assignment since the two-Test series to South Africa in October last year.

Pakistan’s most recent red-ball appearance came against South Africa in October, when the two-match series ended in a 1-1 draw. The national team did not play Test cricket after that.

According to the ICC Future Tours Program (2023-27), Shaun Masood’s team is next scheduled to tour England for a three-match Test series from August 19 to September 13.

Prior to that, Pakistan are likely to travel to the West Indies for a two-Test series in July and August.

Looking further ahead, Sri Lanka are set to tour Pakistan for a two-match Test series in November, while New Zealand are scheduled to visit in March 2027 for another two-Test series.
