KARACHI: Defending champions Lahore Qalandars and home team Karachi Kings arrived here on Saturday evening for the second leg of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11, which starts on April 8.
According to details, the fierce contestants arrived here by chartered flight from Lahore and were escorted to the hotel from Jinnah International Airport under heavy security.
Upon their arrival, both teams will rest today before taking part in their respective training sessions on Sunday afternoon.
For the uninitiated, the next match between the Kings and the Rangers is scheduled for April 9 at the iconic National Bank Stadium, which is undergoing significant renovations for the ongoing eight-team competition.
In the afternoon match, defending champions Qalandars will take on fellow three-time champions Islamabad United.
The Kings are top of the PSL with 11 points with six points from three matches, followed by second-placed Kulanders with four points from as many games.
Meanwhile, United are currently playing the fourth match of the tournament against Rawalpindi at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore before leaving for Karachi at the end.
Zalmi, on the other hand, have already completed their first Lahore leg and will resume their PSL 11 campaign in Karachi on April 8, when they will face another debutant, Hyderabad Kingsmen.
