LAHORE: Debutant Momin Qamar’s economical 3/24 helped Multan Sultans reduce Islamabad United to a paltry score in the fourth match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 at the Gaddafi Stadium on Saturday.
Sultans captain Ashton Turner’s decision came first as three-time champions United managed to post 171/8 in their 20 overs.
United got off to a good start to their innings as their opening pair Devon Conway and Samir Minhas added 48 runs at a blistering pace.

Following successive dismissals, Mark Chapman took charge of United’s batting, weaving brief partnerships with captain Shatab Khan (four) and Hyder Ali before falling to Qamar in the 15th over.
The New Zealand international top scored for the three-time champion with 40 off 23 balls with 3 fours and 2 sixes.
