LAHORE: The glittering ‘Infinity’ trophy arrived here on Thursday as part of a silverware tour of major cities of the country ahead of the historic Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 from March 26 to May 3.

According to details, the silverware was displayed at the Minar-e-Pakistan and Lahore Fort during a visit to the city, sparking excitement among avid cricket fans.

The PSL 11 trophy tour was formally launched last week when it made its “first stop” at the Quaid-e-Azam mausoleum, where a special photoshoot of the silverware was also done.

The trophy, named “Infinity”, will now be taken to Hyderabad on Friday, where it is scheduled to be displayed at the Niaz Stadium and at various locations across the city.

Before going to Peshawar, the silverware was taken to the capital city of Islamabad and the northern parts of the country, including Skardu, where it was displayed at the picturesque Imran Khan Cricket Stadium and elsewhere.

The glittering silverware was unveiled at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi last week.

The cup has a sleek and modern design, with a tall, elegant golden frame that rises from a circular base.

The central body is decorated with shiny stones or crystals arranged in vertical patterns, giving the cup a shiny appearance when illuminated. Two curved golden arms extend upward from the sides and meet at the top.

The top of the cup features a striking crescent and star, a design element inspired by the crescent and star of the national flag of Pakistan.

The crescent is encrusted with tiny crystals, while a shiny metallic star sits just above it, creating a symbolic and visually striking crown.

The base of the cup is gold plated and mounted on a black cylindrical plinth displaying the PSL branding.

The historic 11th edition of the marquee league will see eight teams, including two new teams Bintis and Hyderabad Kingsmen, compete in 44 matches from March 26 to May 3.

PSL 11 kicks off on March 26 with Hyderabad taking on Houston Kingsmen at home against defending champions Lahore Qalandars.
