West Indies fast bowler Javon Searles and Titans franchise owner Chitranjan Rathod and team official Trevan Griffith have been provisionally suspended from all cricket.

All three have been charged with breaching anti-corruption laws in connection with the 2023-24 Bim10 tournament in Barbados.

The International Cricket Council (ICC) and Cricket West Indies (CWI) have filed charges under their respective anti-corruption provisions.

All three individuals face charges related to the Bim10 competition, which falls under the jurisdiction of the CWI Anti-Corruption Code. \\

Griffith has also been charged with a separate offense relating to international matches under the ICC Anti-Corruption Act.

Rathod faces three charges under the CWI Code, while Searles faces four charges. Griffith has been charged with four offenses under the CWI Code and one offense under the ICC Code.

The charges against the trio include breaching Article 2.1.1 of the CWI Code, which involves fixing, conspiring to fix or improperly influencing the outcome, progress, conduct or other aspects of the BIM10 competition.

They were also charged with breaching Article 2.1.4 of the CWI Code, including soliciting, instructing, encouraging or facilitating players and supporters to commit offenses under the CWI Code.

They also face charges under section 2.4.4 for failing to cooperate or refusing to cooperate with a reasonable investigation by a designated anti-corruption officer.

Searles and Griffith were charged with breaching Article 2.4.2 of the CWI Code.

Griffith faces a further charge under Article 2.4.7 of the ICC Code for allegedly obstructing an investigation by the Anti-Corruption Unit.

The charge may be related to an investigation or concealment or tampering with information that led to the discovery of evidence of corrupt conduct.

Individuals have been given 14 days from March 11, 2026 to respond to the allegations.

In a statement, the ICC confirmed that the charges were part of a wider investigation that had earlier charged United States batsman Aaron Jones with five violations of the ICC and CWI anti-corruption codes.

The ICC added that it could not comment further while the disciplinary proceedings were ongoing.

Searles has represented the West Indies under-19 team and played for Trinbago Knight Riders in the Caribbean Premier League between 2014 and 2019. In 2018 he featured in Indian Premier League for Kolkata Knight Riders.
