His 6/8 is now the best bowling figures by a Pakistani player in T20s, beating Tanveer’s previous best of 6/14 recorded for Rajasthan Royals against Chennai Super Kings in the inaugural Indian Premier League (IPL) season in 2008.

The elusive list includes former Pakistan fast bowler Mohammad Amir and national all-rounder Faheem Ashraf who have taken six wickets in their respective T20 careers.
