DUBAI: Pakistan’s players have had gains and losses in the latest ICC T20 rankings, while India’s Varun Chakraborty has been named the best bowler in the shortest format.

In the T20I batsmen rankings, Sahibzada Farhan slipped one place to third, while India’s Ishan Kishan moved up two places to second. His teammate Abhishek Sharma continues to remain at the top.

Saim Ayub slipped one place to 36th, Babar Azam to 37th and T20 captain Salman Ali Agha to 40th with 547 points. Opener Faqar Zaman also moved up one place to 70th.

Among the bowlers, Pakistan’s Abrar Ahmed retained his third spot while Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan took the top spot as he overtook India’s Varun Chakraborty to become the number one bowler.

Off-spinner Mohammad Nawaz is at 12th and Salman Mirza has moved up 2 places to 19th. Fast bowler Shaheen Afridi remains at the 35th position.

Other players’ rankings remained largely stable, with Usman Tariq and Sufyan Muqeem ranked 55th and 60th respectively. Saim Ayub is ranked 67th, Shatab Khan is ranked 72nd and Haris Raoob is ranked 84th.

There are no major changes in the ICC T20 all-rounders rankings. Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza continues to lead, followed by India’s Hardik Pandya and Pakistan’s Saim Ayub at third.

Mohammad Nawaz retained the eighth position, Shadab Khan at the 22nd position, Faheem Ashraf and Salman Ali Agha at the 55th and 56th positions respectively, and Shaheen Afridi at the 65th position.
