PESHAWAR: Lahore Whites beat Faisalabad by six wickets in a rain-affected National T20 Cup 2026 match at the Imran Khan Cricket Stadium on Monday.

After being put into bat at a late start, the match was initially reduced to 16 overs per team.

Faisalabad were 42 for the loss of 3 wickets in 4.1 overs when the rain first intervened. Following the restart, the match was reduced to 13 overs per team.

At 105 for 7 in 9.5 overs, a second rain delay resulted in the game being further reduced to 10 overs per side.

Faisalabad scored 106 runs for 7 wickets in the stipulated 10 overs thanks to a brilliant performance by No. 8 batsman Mubasir Khan who scored 26 runs off 10 balls including a four and 3 sixes.

Opener Mohammad Faizan scored a blistering 21 off 11 balls with a four and 2 sixes.

Atiq ur Rehman scored 14 runs while Asim Ali Naseer and Irfan Khan Niazi added 11 runs each.

Ahmed Daniel bowled well for Lahore Whites with 3 wickets for 17 runs in his two overs. Ubaid Shah took 2 wickets and Mohammad Rameez took one wicket.

In reply, Lahore Whites reached the target losing 4 wickets in 9.4 overs. Openers Muhammad Akhlaq and Muhammad Fauq laid the foundation for the win.

Aklak scored a fluent 48 off 28 balls with 8 fours and a six.

Dayab Tahir and Farhan Yousaf scored 10 runs each, while skipper Amir Jamal sealed victory with a boundary off the first ball he faced.

Earlier in the innings, Faiq split Mohamed Zeeshan in the fifth over, scoring 26 off the first five balls with three sixes and two fours, before being run out on the last ball.

For Faisalabad, Mubasir Khan took 2 wickets and Mohammad Baisan and Mohammad Zeeshan took one wicket each.
