DUBAI: Pakistan’s opening batsman Sahibzada Farhan is currently held to the top spot by Indian batsman Abhishek Sharma following a series of remarkable performances in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026.

Farhan, who became the only player to score two centuries in a single edition of the T20 World Cup, moved up one place to second with 848 points. Sharma is at number one and Phil Salt of England is at number three.

Other Pakistani players have seen a decline in the rankings. Saim Ayub and Babar Azam have slipped one place each to 35th and 37th respectively, while T20 captain Salman Ali Agha has slipped three places to 41st.

Opener Fakhar Zaman, who scored 84 runs against Sri Lanka in the final Super Eight match, climbed 17 places to 71st with 481 points.

In the T20I bowlers’ rankings, Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed moved up two places to third with 736 points and is now close to India’s Varun Chakraborty at the top, while Afghanistan captain Rashid Khan is second.

Off-spinner Mohammad Nawaz is ranked 12th, fast bowler Salman Mirza has fallen 3 places to 21st and Shaheen Afridi has fallen 4 places to 35th with 602 points.

Spinner Usman Tariq retained his 55th position and Sufyan Mukeem his 60th position. Saim Ayub slipped one place to 67th.

Leg-spinner Shadab Khan has slipped 7 places to 72nd, fast bowler Harris Raub has slipped 3 places to 84th and Abbas Afridi is 98th with 415 points.

In the T20I all-rounders rankings, Saim Ayub slipped one place to third spot, giving India’s Hardik Pandya the second spot, while Zimbabwe captain Sikandar Raza retained the top spot.

Mohammad Nawaz climbed one place to eighth, Shadab Khan 22nd, Faheem Ashraf and Salman Ali Agha slipped three places each to 55th and 56th respectively, and Shaheen Afridi slipped 2 places to 65th.
