LAHORE: The Pakistan Super League (PSL) will hold its second roadshow on December 13 in New York, featuring six national cricketers including Test and T20I captains Shan Masood and Salman Ali Agha respectively.

After a successful roadshow at the iconic Lord’s Cricket Ground in London, the marquee league is set to head to the United States (US) as it continues to engage with international investors ahead of its two new franchise bids on January 6.

“Following a successful roadshow at Lord’s Cricket Ground in England on Sunday, December 7, the HBL Pakistan Super League will hold its second international roadshow in New York City, USA on Friday, December 13. The event will begin at 4 pm local time,” the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced in a statement.

“The New York roadshow is part of PCB’s global outreach strategy aimed at engaging with international investors ahead of the two HBL PSL franchise auctions scheduled to take place on Tuesday, 6 January 2026.

“This initiative is designed to highlight the league’s commercial strength, global following and long-term growth potential.”

The cricket board confirmed the line-up for the roadshow, with captains Masood and Agha, along with fellow national cricketers Saim Ayub, Faheem Ashraf, Saud Shakeel and Abrar Ahmed set to grace the milestone event.

Six Pakistan men’s team players, including T20I captain Salman Ali Agha, will participate in the USA event. The other five players are Abrar Ahmed, Faheem Ashraf, Saim Ayub, Shaan Masood and Saud Shakeel,” the PCB concluded.

It is to be noted that the PSL, which started with five franchises in 2016 and later expanded to six sides, has further expanded with the addition of two new teams from its upcoming 11th edition to be played next year.

With the upcoming additions, PSL will undergo its first major overhaul in seven years, bringing the total number of franchises to eight.
