Dubai: The shiny trophy for the ACC Men’s U19 Asia Cup 2025 was unveiled at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Thursday.

The silverware was unveiled by the captains of all the participating teams – Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan, United Arab Emirates (UAE), Nepal and Malaysia – who also posed for photographs with the trophy.

The eight participating teams have been divided into two groups of four, with Group A comprising Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Nepal, while Group B comprises Pakistan, India, UAE and Nepal.

The continental matches will begin with a curtain-raiser between India and the UAE on Friday at the ICC Academy here, while Pakistan will simultaneously take on Malaysia at The Sevens Stadium.

Hosts Afghanistan will begin their campaign next day when they take on Bangladesh at the ICC Academy here, while Sri Lanka will take on Nepal at The Sevens Stadium.

Meanwhile, a blockbuster clash between arch-rivals Pakistan and India will be held at the ICC Academy on Sunday.

Unlike the Senior Men’s Asia Cup, which featured a Super Four phase, this edition will follow a straight knockout format, with the top two teams from each group advancing directly to the semi-finals, scheduled to be played on December 19.

As a result, fans can witness two potential Pakistan-India clashes – one in the group stage and the other in the final, which will be held on December 21 at the ICC Academy here.
