
Hyderabad, one of the new owners of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), has appointed Jack Martin as their strength and conditioning coach ahead of the 11th edition of the tournament from March 26 to May 3.
Kingsmen Cricket USA made this announcement on their official social media handle: “Zach Martin joins Hyderabad squad for PSL as our strength and conditioning coach.”
“A longtime Kingsmen Cricket S&C coach, Jack brings vast experience working with players across the United States,” the post added.
Meanwhile, the franchise recently appointed former Pakistan head coach Jason Gillespie as the head coach.
Former England all-rounder Craig White will serve as assistant coach and Grant Bradburn has been appointed as fielding coach for the upcoming season.
The PSL 11th edition will see the competition expand to eight teams, with Hyderabad and Sialkot joining as new franchises.
Hyderabad owned by Fawad Sarwar, Rs. 1.75 billion ($6.25 million) and acquired the franchise by bidding at an auction.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has also confirmed that the PSL 11 player auction will be held on February 11.
The auction workshop was chaired by PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi and PSL CEO Salman Naseer and was attended by representatives of the eight franchises, PSL officials, members of Pakistan’s T20 World Cup squad and other CAP players.
