Harare: Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first against Scotland in the 12th match of the ongoing ICC Under-19 World Cup at Takashinga Sports Club, Highfield on Monday.

Pakistan: Samir Minhas, Ali Hasan Baloch, Usman Khan, Ahmed Hussain, Farhan Yousuf (catch), Husayfa Ahsan, Hamza Zahoor (vk), Abdul Subban, Momin Qamar, Mohammad Syam and Ali Raza.

Scotland: Theo Robinson, Thomas Knight (c/wk), Max Chaplin, Rory Grant, Ollie Jones, Finlay Carter, Manu Saraswat, Finlay Jones, Ethan Ramsey, Jake Woodhouse and Shlok Thackeray.

Historically, Pakistan and Scotland have met three times in junior ODIs and Pakistan have won all three matches.

Batting first, Scotland were bowled out for 75 runs in 23.5 overs, thanks to some excellent bowling by Pakistan U19.

Mohammad Wasim led the attack with 5/12 in 7.5 overs, followed by Tahir Hussain with 3 wickets, Abbas Afridi with 2 wickets and Amir Ali with one wicket.

Pakistan chased down the target losing 3 wickets in 11.4 overs. Irfan Khan top-scored with 38 off 37 balls including 6 fours while captain Rohail Naseer scored 27 off 23 balls.

Both teams will aim for a win to boost their chances of advancing to the U19 World Cup. Pakistan lost their opener against England when the Scotland-Zimbabwe match was abandoned due to rain.
