
ISLAMABAD: Jamaican umpire Christopher Mark Taylor will officiate three matches in the 2025-26 President Trophy Grade-1 as part of the International Cricket Council’s umpire exchange programme, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced on Monday.
Taylor will make his competitive debut in the Ghani Glass vs Chui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) match at the National Bank Stadium on Wednesday.
The 45-year-old will officiate the Khan Research Laboratories (KRL) vs SNGPL match at the KCCA Stadium on January 27 and the Sahir Associates vs Pakistan Television (PTV) match at the National Bank Stadium on February 2.
An experienced official, Taylor has previously umpired five Women’s One Day Internationals, three T20 Internationals, 41 First-Class, 56 List-A and 53 T20Is.
His latest assignment is the West Indies domestic 50-over tournament in November 2025.
Under the ICC Umpire Exchange Programme, Taylor will not only further his own development away from home, but will also give local umpires the opportunity to learn from his expertise and experience in the domestic cricket circuit of the West Indies.
The fourth round of the ongoing tournament resumes on Wednesday, with WAPDA taking on OGDCL at the KCCA Stadium, followed by Ghani Class vs SNGPL at the National Bank Stadium.
Sahir Associates take on State Bank of Pakistan at the State Bank Stadium, while defending champions PTV take on KPL at the UBL Sports Complex.
