LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to change the start time of the three-match T20 International series against Australia, sources said. Jio News On Friday.

An official announcement regarding the revised timings is expected soon.

While all T20 matches are scheduled to start at 4:00 PM local time, the decision has been taken due to extreme weather conditions.

The toss for each match will be held at 3.30 pm. Earlier, the matches will start at 6:00 PM and the toss will start at 5:30 PM.

Pakistan and Australia will face each other in three T20Is on January 29, January 31 and February 1 at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

The series will be a key preparation for both sides ahead of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup scheduled to be held in India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8.

In the World Cup, Pakistan have been drawn in Group A with India, USA, Netherlands and Namibia, while Australia compete in Group B with Sri Lanka, Ireland, Zimbabwe and Oman.

The tour will mark Australia’s third visit to Pakistan after March-April 2022, when they will play a historic Test series, followed by an ODI series and a T20I.

Australia also played three matches in Pakistan in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.

Historically, Pakistan and Australia have met 28 times in T20 Internationals. Australia have won 14 matches and Pakistan 12 matches, with one match ending in a tie and another without any result.
