Dubai: The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Wednesday announced that additional tickets for the 2026 Men’s T20 World Cup have gone on sale.
According to the apex body, similar to the initial phase of sales that went live in December, additional tickets have been kept at a “record affordable” price to prioritize access to fans from around the world.
“Fans can now access tickets for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 matches as sales are live,” the ICC said in a statement.
“Prioritizing access to fans worldwide, ICC has introduced record affordable ticket prices for the marquee match – just INR 100 (approx. $1.11) in India and LKR 1000 (approx. $3.26) in Sri Lanka.”
For the uninitiated, the 10th edition of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will be co-hosted by India and Sri Lanka from February 7 to March 8 this year.
The mega event will see 20 teams divided into four groups of five, with the top two from each group advancing to the Super Eight stage, followed by two pools of four sides each.
The tournament kicks off with Pakistan taking on the Netherlands on the opening day, while hosts and defending champions India take on the United States (USA) in Mumbai.
The group stage concludes with a match between Australia and Oman in Kandy on February 20. The Super Eight stage will be held from February 21 to March 1, followed by two semi-finals on March 4 and 5 respectively.
Meanwhile, the blockbuster final will be played on March 8 in either Ahmedabad or Colombo depending on Pakistan’s qualification as the 2009 champions will play all their matches in Sri Lanka.
